What You'll Do :
Administer and ensure compliance for the 401(k) plan, including audits, compliance testing, and federal / state filings.
Reconcile contributions, loan payments, and salary deferrals while monitoring eligibility and vesting.
Conduct compliance audits and maintain up-to-date plan documentation.
Resolve vendor and employee issues related to retirement accounts and investments.
Manage benefit payment processes and repayment plans in coordination with payroll.
Ensure compliance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations, including tracking, reporting, and filing of required documentation.
Address and resolve employee benefits, 401(k), and leave-related issues efficiently and professionally.
Assist with plan design and benchmarking through benefits surveys and industry trend analysis.
Manage and serve as the main point of contact for 401(k) vendor.
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in employee benefits administration.
Strong understanding of benefits concepts, including self-funded / fully insured products and voluntary benefits.
Solid knowledge of compliance with ACA, ERISA, and IRS regulations.
Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); Workday experience is a plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to handle complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and resolve conflicts while communicating effectively—all while working independently as an individual contributor.
CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation preferred.
Related experience in the restaurant industry is a plus.
Bilingual skills are considered an asset.
