What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Financials Manager position at KBP Brands?
Are you an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a passion for automation and process improvement? KBP Brands is seeking a Workday Financials Manager to support and optimize Workday Financials across our organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining Workday modules, and driving system enhancements. If you have Workday report writing skills, Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) experience, and a deep understanding of GAAP accounting, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Support the operation and maintenance of Workday Financials to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Administer key Workday modules, including Financial Accounting, Banking & Settlement, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Business Assets, and Reporting.
- Collaborate with team leads and controllers to configure system solutions that enhance accounting and finance processes.
- Partner with IT and broader Workday teams to implement system solutions and process improvements.
- Maintain and update Workday FDM structures, ensuring modifications and enhancements are tracked, approved, and executed efficiently.
- Develop and implement calculated fields, condition rules, and other configuration changes to address business challenges.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite).
- Build Workday Dashboards and Discovery Boards to provide real-time financial insights.
- Collaborate with IT teams for the testing and deployment of Workday’s semi-annual releases.
- Provide support and guidance on Workday financial processes and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, management, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience with Workday Financials in implementation, financial reporting, or administration.
- Experience in developing Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards.
- Workday Pro certifications and experience with allocations, Intercompany, and Prism preferred.
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for analyzing and optimizing financial processes.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both financial and non-financial teams.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
