PR Intern – Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle PR

Los Angeles, CA (In person)

Part-Time | Academic Credit or Paid Stipend

KBPR is a boutique fashion, beauty, and lifestyle PR agency specializing in brand storytelling, media relations, influencer marketing, and digital strategy. We work with emerging and established brands to elevate their presence through compelling narratives, strategic partnerships, and innovative campaigns.

We’re looking for a PR Intern who is highly organized, trend-savvy, and passionate about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. This internship offers hands-on experience in PR operations, showroom management, influencer relations, and media outreach.

Key Responsibilities :

Gifting Coordination :

Monitor and maintain all gifting tabs.
Communicate with the team if any requested pieces are unavailable.
Ensure accurate documentation of influencer and VIP selects, including correct sizes, styles, and colors.

Showroom Management :

Organize and maintain the showroom, ensuring it is presentable for incoming talent.

Brand Documentation & Reporting :

Update brand documents with VIP and influencer selects.

Keep all names hyperlinked to their correct Instagram accounts.

Add all secured PR placements to brand documents, ensuring each is on its own line.

Maintain clean and up-to-date placement reports, updated weekly.

Drafting Placements & Outreach :

Draft placement reports for approval before sending to clients.

Assist the team with stylist pulls and log all loaned styles.

Take inventory of products when requested by clients.

Monitor social media (Instagram, TikTok, paparazzi sites, etc.) for influencer, VIP, and editorial placements.

Conduct influencer, editorial, and celebrity outreach as assigned, building relationships with new talent.

Expanding Target Lists :

Research and expand influencer, editor, and celebrity target lists.

Ensure all contacts are correctly linked to their Instagram profiles, with follower counts updated.

Ideal Candidate :

Passionate about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle PR.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

Strong research and communication skills.

Familiar with social media, influencer marketing, and digital trends.

Experience with Google Docs, Excel / Sheets, and PR tracking tools is a plus.

This is an in-person position based in Los Angeles, CA .

The internship is for academic credit or a paid stipend and requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week .
