IT Customer Support Technician

About The Role

As an IT Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for configuring, delivering, and maintaining IT equipment while providing first-class support to our end users, both in-office and remotely. You’ll be an essential part of the team, ensuring smooth IT operations and assisting with hardware, software, and mobile device support.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Complete desktop configuration, prepare equipment for deployment to end users.
  • Delivery and installation of desktop assets and peripherals to end users.
  • Assist with Desktop Incident Management support to users who are based in the office or working remotely.
  • Assist in moving users between office locations. Cabling, desktop configuration, patching, etc.
  • Build/image/configure PCs for deployment to users, following standard processes.
  • Assist with disposal, delivery and returns processes as required.
  • Assist with support of corporate mobile phones
  • Assist with support on hardware for meeting rooms
  • Provide assistance to users with KBR\ASPIRE Apps and MFA on personal devices
  • Physical movement of hardware equipment is required as part of the role (i.e. moving around office, into and out of storerooms, carrying where appropriate, etc.).
  • Always follow KBR IT processes for delivery and support. Ensures work is performed in accordance to company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Escalates incidents not resolved within established service levels.
  • Maintain good relationships with other staff and promote good morale
  • Be a reliable source of IT information for users.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations at all times (Lifting, driving, working within warehouse and storerooms etc.)

What We’re Looking For

  • Good understanding of operating systems and Microsoft applications. Specifically, Windows 10 /11 and MS Teams.
  • Knowledge of imaging/building of PCs with MECM/CM or similar
  • Good communication skills and good written and spoken English
  • A full UK driving license to drive company vehicles
  • Applicants must be eligible to obtain BPSS, which requires a 3-year footprint in the UK.

Supply Chain Intern

Are you ready to dive into the world of supply chain management and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment? As a Supply Chain Intern at KBR in Huntsville, AL, you'll work alongside experienced professionals and play an active role in supporting our supply chain operations. This is a unique opportunity to develop skills in key areas like procurement, market research, subcontract management, program support, and compliance with government regulations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the supply chain team in managing daily operations, including subcontracts, procurement, market research, and program support.
  • Gain exposure to key systems such as Cognos, Costpoint, and Human Resources software.
  • Learn about Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and their supplements, gaining an understanding of government-specific supply chain and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to team initiatives in areas like Government Property Accountability, Sustainability, Cybersecurity Awareness, and File Closeout.
  • Review and familiarize yourself with important policies, procedures, and forms that guide supply chain processes.
  • Receive training and mentorship from experienced supply chain professionals who are dedicated to helping you succeed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled/pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited US college. Preference is Junior status/standing.
  • Must be above the age of 18.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Field of study that encompasses supply chain, finance, and contracts/acquisition
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work with a dispersed Team of Professionals

2025 Summer Internship

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week. Monday-Friday.

Compensation: $23/HR
