Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation of strategic plans that comply with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards
- Perform cost estimates on those plans to include correlating requirements into executable budgets
- Detect, analyze and correct financial discrepancies and provide expert advice and assistance to program decision makers in the execution of multiple contracts, programs and projects in various life-cycles
- Work closely with stakeholders to establish and monitor program execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria
- Prepare monthly internal and external financial and program deliverables, including detailed complex Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial activities such as Estimates at Completion (EACs), Forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan
- Develop, maintain, and analyze spend plans and Estimate to Complete (ETC) for assigned projects
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions, monitoring subcontractor costs, and preparing accruals.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience and a thorough understanding of the Federal Budget Process including budget formulation, justification, and execution
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Occasional travel
