Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct contract requirements development, negotiation, source selection, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Review performance requirements to ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
- Issue contract and financial program documents and structure contractual terms to align with business strategy.
- Initiate internal documentation to authorize and direct work according to contractual specifications.
- Monitor the performance of contractual obligations to ensure adherence to agreed terms.
- Mentor and lead project teams, advising on best practices to improve products, processes, or services based on industry knowledge.
- Advise multi-disciplinary teams or run projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Guide others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought and innovative solutions.
- Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to influence decisions.
- Provide limited supervision of team members, including oversight of daily tasks, verification of timecards, and input into performance appraisals.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for the assigned area of responsibility.
- US citizenship.
- US Passport, valid or ability to obtain.
- US Driver's License.
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited four-year college.
- NACI clearance required, or ability to obtain.
- 5 years of experience in Federal Government contract management/administration.
- Demonstrated experience in administration and management of major contract types: fixed-price, time & materials (T&M), and various cost-type contracts.
- Proven skills in change management, planning, organizing, directing, communicating, and controlling, with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Understanding of litigation and claims processes and experience with legal communities.
- Proficiency in using computers and related software such as Microsoft Office and other common office products.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance is a plus
- Experience with US military contracting, base operation support services (BOSS) contracts, and previous on-site OCONUS support preferred.
- Further demonstrated continuing education in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
