We are seeking a Hazardous Material Specialist to join our team at the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in the Philippines.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing training to colleagues.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Planning, coordinating, and executing hazardous material management functions.
- Managing and applying regulatory requirements for hazardous material handling procedures.
- Providing manager-level reports on hazardous material storage, distribution, disposal, and regulatory considerations.
Key qualifications include:
- AA degree in safety or environmental engineering, health education, or a related field.
- Directly related work experience in hazardous materials management.
- OSHA certification and completion of a Hazardous Materials/Waste Course.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid state Motor Vehicle Drivers' License.
- A U.S. Passport and ability to obtain a work visa and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
- The ability to pass an FBI Background investigation.
