KBR is seeking a seasoned Information Security Specialist to join our team in Kihei, Hawaii. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and assistance to the Government regarding secure configuration and operation of IT assets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience in developing and implementing Intrusion Detection Systems and firewalls, as well as knowledge of standard information systems security concepts, practices, and procedures.
We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- DoD IAT Level 1 or IASAE Level 1
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting risk management framework (RMF) assessments and authorizations, mitigating malicious activity, and preparing reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems.
