Job Summary
The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing and developing analysis, pricing strategies and price proposals for high-priority new business pursuits. This will include managing a Pricing team who produce complex price proposals (generally valued at $50M , but typically range from $500M to multi billion) for contracts spanning a variety of types including CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, CR, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ. Typical contracts in the Readiness and Sustainment business unit involve pricing for both OCONUS and CONUS logistics services, as well as base operations. The Pricing Manager will be committed to early engagement with business development and capture teams in support of this effort.
Although KBR is headquartered in Houston, this role has flexibility to be fully remote. The successful candidate can work from any location within the Continental United States. Position may require occasional travel in support of proposals, meetings, training, or other events.

Roles And Responsibilities
The Pricing Manager’s duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Directs resources, prioritizes tasks and provides guidance to team members in delivery of pricing proposals.
- Applies broad expertise and knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques to lead the team to solve a variety of complex financial and general business problems.
- Works with senior leaders to develop business solutions and translate them into a unified pricing strategy.
- Performs risk and cash flow analyses to promote overall business strategy.
- Oversees the development and presentation of price assumptions, financial summaries and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission by team members.
- Manages the Team in the execution of the pricing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 or more years of direct US Government pricing experience, as well as 3 years’ in a leadership capacity.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience pricing proposals for OCONUS base operations support services and logistics, including direct hire and subcontracted staff comprised of CONUS and OCONUS labor, union labor, third-country nationals, and local nationals.
- A minimum 3 years’ experience leading a pricing team whose majority of deliverables were submitting DoD FAR and DFAR compliant bids.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen to develop sound financial analysis and strategic pricing recommendations.
- Cost/Price proposal narrative writing and subsequent experience providing comprehensive responses to pricing evaluation notices, final proposal revisions, etc.
- Experience collaborating with Legal, Tax and Human Resources teams to ensure price proposals are fully compliant with local labor laws and applicable taxes.
- Outstanding organizational, written, and oral communication skills as well as the ability to handle multiple assignments within quick turnaround timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience developing price-to-win analysis, customer assessments, competitive intelligence, and presenting pricing strategy recommendations to senior leadership.
