Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing medical history and current medications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation related to anesthesia administration and patient care.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients during recovery.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in medication administration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a high level of patient safety and comfort.
