What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Specialist position at KBS, Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues
- Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in a safe manner
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation
Experience:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
Skills:
- Industrial cleaning: Knowledge of specialized cleaning techniques for industrial environments
- Porter: Understanding of porter duties, including maintaining cleanliness in public areas
- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial responsibilities, including cleaning restrooms and common areas
- Maintain: Ability to keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift
- Clean: Thoroughly clean assigned areas according to established standards
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in commercial cleaning settings, such as office buildings or retail spaces
Must be able to pass a 7 year back ground check and have a clean driving record.
