What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Specialist position at KBS, Inc?
Mon- Thurs 1pm-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues
- Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in a safe manner
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation
Experience:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
Skills:
- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial responsibilities, including cleaning restrooms and common areas - preferred
- Maintain: Ability to keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift
- Clean: Thoroughly clean assigned areas according to established standards
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in commercial cleaning settings, such as office buildings or retail spaces - preferred
Must be able to pass a 7 year back ground check and 5 panel drug screen and have a clean driving record.
