KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a well-established company is seeking an experienced Collections Analyst to manage a portfolio of mid-sized key accounts. This role focuses on the efficient and professional collection of outstanding balances, resolving customer deductions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address financial discrepancies.
About you – you must have a minimum of three or more years of corporate credit analysis experience, intermediate to advanced Excel skills and the ability to present monthly reporting to senior leaders within the organization utilizing PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily collection activities to meet collection goals and reduce financial risk.
- Investigate and resolve complex customer deductions through thorough research and communication.
- Prepare and present account status updates to key stakeholders.
- Reconcile customer accounts, navigate disputes, and perform research using customer portals.
- Document collection efforts with clear and concise notes.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate account risks, NSF payments, and disputes to key stakeholders.
- Support additional accounts receivable responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in commercial collections managing mid-to-large customer portfolios.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
