This role reports to the CFO and is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. The ideal candidate will have proven business partnering and FP&A leadership with an eye for enhancing processes and systems to streamline finance. Additional details include:
- Responsible for managing Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Develop models to project revenue, expenses, contribution margin, balance sheet and cash flow scenarios
- Lead the monthly reforecasting process with functional leaders
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances
- Present detailed monthly financial reports and related KPI dashboards to senior management
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Finance business partner to functional leadership and senior management
- Streamline and enhance FP&A processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Optimize FP&A systems and tools
- Lead and mentor a small team
- BS finance, accounting, or a related field - MBA a plus
- 8 years of FP&A experience in related roles- at least 3 years management experience
- Experience leading and managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial management reporting
- Prior experience in a nonprofit is desirable but not required - open to other complex industries
- Knowledge of GAAP compliance
- Ability to manage complex financial models
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated team management capabilities
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience
