Investor Relations Analyst

Top Alternative Investment Firm here in Boston is looking to hire an Investor Relations Analyst who will support the business development and investor relations team in their capital raising efforts and by providing exceptional client service to existing investors. Our client is looking for someone with investment bank, asset management, management consulting or investment consulting firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the Firm and its funds.
• Responsible for supporting investor communications by coordinating with various internal constituencies to respond to client data inquiries.
• Produce due diligence questionnaires, firm materials and other customized investor reports by collaborating with internal teams.
• Maintain CRM database with records of existing and prospective investors.
• Develop customized marketing materials incorporating economic information, data & analytics, and broad market themes to be presented to prospective investors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and/or opportunities for automation and use of technology to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver briefing materials, including agenda, background information and research, to senior investment and business development professionals for investor meetings and/or industry events.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably at an investment bank, asset management, management consulting or investment consulting firm.
• Ability to seamlessly transition between independent and collaborative work in a team environment.
• Experience with CRM system preferred.
• Basic understanding of hedge fund business and/or fixed income preferred.
• Series 3 license or will be required to obtain license upon hire.
