Payroll Accountant

A global, industry-leading company has an opening for a Payroll Accountant to join their team in Lawrence, MA. The Payroll Accountant will report to the CFO & have the primary responsibility of entering payroll memos into the payroll system for new hires and ongoing changes, as well as processing bi-weekly payroll in Paychex Payroll after AOD approvals. The Payroll Accountant will also get involved with tracking overtime and relief, preparing analytical payroll and AOD reports for program managers, and researching payroll and time & attendance activity as needed.

Up to $35/hr DOE.

The role requires someone local to the Lawrence area and will be in the office five days a week.

Job Description

• Enter payroll memos into the payroll system for new hires and ongoing changes.
• Oversee bi-weekly AOD time & attendance data collection, coding, and approval.
• Track overtime and relief and prepare analytical payroll and AOD reports for program managers.
• Perform audits of individual bank accounts for residential programming.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Must have experience with PayCom.
• Assist in auditing the payroll process and eventually support payroll processing.
• Support the HR Consultant with a compensation analysis project.
