A publicly traded technology company located north of Boston is seeking a Revenue Controller to join its accounting leadership team. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the CFO and closely collaborating with the Director of Supply Chain Finance. The Revenue Controller will play a pivotal role in building and leading the revenue accounting function. This includes managing external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and hiring and overseeing a team, starting with one direct report.

- Lead revenue recognition and accounting processes for a growing public company with approximately $2B in annual revenue.
- Build and oversee the revenue accounting function, including hiring and developing team members.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Provide strategic insights and reporting to executive leadership, including the CFO.
- Partner with the Director of Supply Chain Finance to align revenue processes with broader financial goals.
- Education & Certification: CPA required.
- Experience:
- Background in public accounting and/or large companies (preferably publicly traded).
- Industry experience in manufacturing or defense is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially in revenue recognition.
- Proven ability to build and manage accounting teams.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with executive-level visibility.
