Senior Manager of Accounting

Responsibilities

KBW Financial has partnered with a global life science company to identify a Senior Manager of Accounting. This newly created role will be responsible for all accounting, the close and reporting. This hybrid remote position will manage a small team and is ideal for a public accounting professional with corporate accounting leadership. Additional details include:

• Manage the GL and close
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow)
• Identify key trends, risks and opportunities in order to assist with timely & effective decision making
• Manage external and internal audits
• Ensure GAAP compliance and provide technical accounting guidance when needed
• Manage internal controls and optimize systems
• Manage and mentor the accounting team
  
  

Requirements::

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 8 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm with global clients or relevant corporate accounting
• GAAP and IFRS knowledge
• Staff management experience
• Manufacturing experience a distinct plus
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills
