Senior Staff Accountant/ Assistant Controller

Mid-sized financial services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be involved in monthly and quarterly close, invoice processing, financial reporting, cash management and internal controls. We are targeting candidates with 3 years of accounting experience. Public accounting / CPA is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly close
• Prepare financial reporting packages
• Portfolio operations
• Invoice processing
• Ensure controls are in compliance with industry and company standards
• Additional ad hoc projects as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 3 years of relevant experience
• CPA and/or public accounting is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with GAAP
