Directional Drill Operator
Candidates must be able to carefully and accurately follow safety and work instructions, organize and track their work via checklists and work procedures. This candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining all necessary equipment. Candidate must be familiar with industry standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate with directional drill in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
- Responsible for avoiding existing cables and digging in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
- Maintain company equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines
- Maintain a constant focus on operating in a safe working environment.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years Operating Directional Drill Vermeer 20×22 Series 2 and Mini Excavator
- A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (Commercial driver’s license preferred but not required)
- Must have reliable transportation, be dependable and punctual
- Due to the nature of field work, this position may require overtime, working on weekends, holidays, and the possibility of being called in during off hours
- We are an outside plant construction company, it is mandatory to work outside in the varying elements year round
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks, drug screen and motor vehicle record checks are required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

License:
- Valid Driver’s License, with a clean MVR (Required)
- Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
