Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for restoring, renovating, and building concrete structures while collaborating with other construction professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring and finishing.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Use tools and equipment to smooth and finish surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Restore and renovate existing concrete structures as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites.
• Apply caulking and sealants to finished surfaces to ensure durability.
• Collaborate with team members in trim carpentry tasks and metal stud framing when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
• Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials to job sites.
• Strong skills in carpentry, including the ability to build forms for concrete pours.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
• A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
