We are looking for a passionate leader to motivate fellow colleagues and increase sales. Duties and responsibilities include training colleagues within the store, and being the expert in product knowledge to help employees and/or customers- to determine their needs, answer their questions, recommend the right solutions, and close sales. You will work with the Store Manager to set goals to be achieved by your and your team. You should be able to resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction promptly. To be successful as an Assistant Manager, you should ensure you and your colleagues are up-to-date with product features/information and maintain the stores visual appearance in high standards to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead your sales team to maintain sales goals
- Assist in completing goals reviewed by the Store Manager
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their questions
- Keep the store in-stock and presentable
- Update inventory
- Actively seek out customers in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
