The Remodeling Estimator will oversee budgeting, developing cost estimates, and development of construction schedules and presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for use by the Client, Project Manager, and Project Team.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable, career-oriented individual with experience in residential and commercial remodeling that can oversee multiple projects from all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution. This is a base salary commission full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects and manage all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution
- Develop accurate cost estimates and construction schedules, presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for clients, project managers, and the project team
- Allocate resources efficiently for assigned projects, working closely with office staff and field crews
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, negotiating reasonable order costs, and expanding the pool of reliable subcontractors
- Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to jobs and office work
Qualifications / Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and subcontractors
- High standard of integrity and professionalism in all interactions
- Strong competence and high aptitude required for accurate cost estimating and project management
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the residential construction industry, specifically in estimating
- Cost estimating experience is required (experience with estimating software a plus)
- Experience with construction project management software is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage deadlines with attention to detail
- Schedule:
- This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work possible.
- Travel:
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.
