The Remodeling Estimator will oversee budgeting, developing cost estimates, and development of construction schedules and presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for use by the Client, Project Manager, and Project Team.

If you have a strong background in residential and commercial remodeling and are looking for an opportunity to oversee multiple projects from start to finish, this role is perfect for you! The ideal candidate will be a reliable, career-oriented individual with experience in residential and commercial remodeling that can oversee multiple projects from all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution. This is a base salary commission full time position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple projects and manage all aspects, including design, estimating, billing, and execution
• Develop accurate cost estimates and construction schedules, presenting the results in a work breakdown format suitable for clients, project managers, and the project team
• Allocate resources efficiently for assigned projects, working closely with office staff and field crews
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, negotiating reasonable order costs, and expanding the pool of reliable subcontractors
• Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to jobs and office work
  
  

Qualifications / Experience:

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and subcontractors
• High standard of integrity and professionalism in all interactions
• Strong competence and high aptitude required for accurate cost estimating and project management
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the residential construction industry, specifically in estimating
• Cost estimating experience is required (experience with estimating software a plus)
• Experience with construction project management software is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and manage deadlines with attention to detail
• Schedule:
• This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work possible.
• Travel:
• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

• Salary: $42,541.00 - $50,867.00 per year a Generous Commission
