Duties
- Diagnose issues with appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs on a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Assemble and install new appliances as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of appliances.
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to streamline service operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field or at client locations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong background in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in field service environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver may be advantageous for logistical aspects of the role.
