Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Assists the Maintenance Mechanic in performing tasks to ensure the safe operation of all attractions and a pleasant guest experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all OSHA and manufacturer safety regulations
Assist in daily safety inspections to ensure safe operations and a positive guest experience
Assist in maintaining required inspection and safety records
Communicate with maintenance mechanic(s), managers, and other team members regarding maintenance issues
Ensure a clean, safe environment for employees and guests
Assist Maintenance Mechanic(s) with other maintenance tasks and duties related to the Wheel Park
Attends required trainings
Leads emergency drill trainings
Assist with operations as required

Qualifications:
1 years’ experience in general maintenance preferred
Experience in a theme park or attraction setting preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb up to a 90’ ladder and work on delicate systems
Ability to use general maintenance tools including multi-meters
Extreme attention to detail, manual dexterity and an aptitude for electrical work and electronics.
Must be available to work an irregular schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma required
Broad technical training preferred.
English Language Proficiency
Theme Park or Attraction experience preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Has oral and written proficiency of the English language.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
