KCA is an association management and event planning firm headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, with a second office in midtown Phoenix, Arizona. We manage more than 20 clients throughout the United States, supporting industries including (but not limited to): healthcare, aviation, engineering and manufacturing, career services, transportation, education and government. As KCA continues to expand, we’re seeking a full-time, Association Management (Business Management) and Event Administrator. This position supports nonprofit trade association’s (501c3 and 501c6) membership, marketing, and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years Business Administration/Office Support/Event Assistant experience required
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not required
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience working in fast-paced office setting required
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner, oral and written
- On-site event staffing experience is a plus, but not required
Duties
- 60% Business administration and event support (event registration, marketing, membership management, database management, customer service, website management)
- 20% Onsite event support (client events; in and out-of-state travel required)
- 20% Business office support (mail, multi-line telephone system, email management, printing, event materials)

Event Support
*Providing administrative support, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on client’s behalf to promote events
*Managing registration (answering questions via call and email), processing payments and refunds, producing weekly registration reports
*Booking travel
*Organizing meetings, including scheduling
*Production of on-site event materials (name badges, marketing material, signage, conference applications, collateral, etc.)
*Vendor solicitation (food and beverage, audio visual, marketing, etc.)
Onsite Support
*Attending client events to assist with setup, registration/check-in, onsite logistics and general inquiries
Work location: Hybrid flexible at either office location, 60-70% in office or onsite event work
