Summary :
The Teacher Assistant is responsible for assistant in implementing all components of the children's services curriculum within his / her designated classroom in a manner which is reflective of KCARC's mission to advocate and provide opportunities in dignified and respectful manner for the total well-being of individuals and families with special needs.

The position requires staff to alternate from a sitting position to a standing position frequently. Repetitive motion required. Lifting, bending, twisting, and turning are required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally loud. Use of Personal Protective Equipment such as vinyl gloves is occasionally required.
