What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSew-Production Worker-1 position at KCARC?
The Production Worker-1 must be proficient in Bundling, Cutting, Spreading, Wrapping and Staging Pallets, Loading Gen III Shipments, Shipping and Receiving Bowling orders, Receiving and Unloading Fabric Shipments, unloading other shipments as needed.
- Follow all Agency and OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow Agency attendance policy.
- Follow supervisor’s instructions.
- Must be trained and certified on forklift.
- Responsible for following a schedule of and performing preventive maintenance on all Cutting department equipment (example: changing cutting blades, resetting parameters in the cutter software, cleaning all working parts of equipment).
- All other duties deemed necessary.
- Maybe required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Additional hours if needed are mandatory.

Qualifications:
- Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime, alternating lunch and break schedules when needed.
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

Education and or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
