Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy environment for our employees and visitors by performing the following essential functions and responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
- Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
- Must understand and follow company safety policies.
- Must be able to adhere to the responsibilities and physical requirements of the job.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with a team.
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
- Maintain janitor closets & equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
- Set up / take down of event materials.
- Lifting, loading, unfolding and moving tables, chair, materials, and other equipment as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic Handyman, troubleshooting, repair, and general labor as needed.
- Be able to travel between facilities Louisville/Simpsonville
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have good communication skills in English
Safety/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires repetitive bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, and squatting.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day.
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
