- Create and enhance data pipelines, architectures, and datasets, and integrating Data Acquisition packages to support Chief Data Officer initiatives.
- Apply data modeling, mining, normalization, privacy, and security while aligning with data governance strategies and documentation.
- Design unit and integration tests with data quality frameworks, leveraging the Data Dictionary and Metadata Catalog.
- Participate in Agile meetings and collaborate on data stewardship working groups.
- Share insights across teams, supporting data-driven decisions with Qlik visualizations in the government-provided Data & Analytics Environment.
- Expand technical skills to meet client needs and stay current with data governance practices.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Manage time effectively to ensure accurate and timely implementation of data governance procedures.
- Write complex code for data processing, distributed systems, and parallel computing while ensuring governance compliance.
- Craft advanced queries, optimize data acquisition, and enhance analytics capabilities.
- Establish and manage data storage systems with sharing, replication, and governance best practices.
- Implement data streaming solutions with fault tolerance and distributed system capabilities.
- 2 years of experience in ETL pipeline development, data modeling, and governance
- Active Secret clearance required
- Prior experience with Qlik (or similar) and proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing
- Experience with metadata management, Data Dictionaries, and Metadata Catalogs
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data stewardship collaboration
- Strong problem-solving, risk mitigation, and communication skills
