KCH Transportation is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our AR team and ensure smooth payment processes across the board!
Position Summary:
The AR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts receivable process. The role involves monitoring and collecting payments from clients, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving any billing discrepancies or issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the accounts receivable function: Supervising the invoicing and billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Monitoring receivables: Tracking outstanding invoices, aging reports, and payment schedules to ensure timely collection of funds.
- Payment collection: Contacting clients to request payment, following up on overdue accounts, and negotiating payment plans when necessary.
- Resolving billing discrepancies: Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to invoices, payments, or billing issues.
- Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their payment preferences, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Financial reporting: Generating regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and cash flow projections for management review.
- Process improvement: Identifying areas for process optimization, implementing efficiency measures, and enhancing the accounts receivable process.
- Compliance and regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams such as operations, sales, and customer service to resolve client inquiries and address payment-related issues.
- Team management: Leading and supervising a team of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
