We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Surveying and Mapping Group. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in various aspects of surveying and mapping.
As an intern, you will be involved in:
- Utility Coordination: Learning to coordinate with utility companies and manage utility data.
- Subsurface Utility Engineering: Understanding techniques and technologies used to locate and map underground utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support field survey teams in data collection and processing.
- Assist in coordinating with utility companies for data acquisition and management.
- Participate in subsurface utility engineering projects, including data analysis and mapping.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey and utility data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geography).
- Strong interest in surveying, mapping, and utility coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in the field and lift up to 50lbs
Education and/or Skills Required:
This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:
High School Diploma/GED
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
Valid Driver's License
