Duties, Responsibilities & Other
This position will also support a variety of projects and assignments, including those organized in the following major subject areas :
Local TMDL and Bay TMDL Modeling
- Perform pollutant load modeling using the Bay Program’s Chesapeake Assessment Scenario Tool (CAST).
- Perform pollutant load modeling using Maryland Department of the Environment’s (MDE’s) TMDL Implementation Progress and Planning Tool (TIPP).
- Review published information and GIS mapping.
- Develop TMDL implementation plans.
- Perform data analysis using National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) geodatabase.
