Duties, Responsibilities & Other
KCI Technologies is hiring a Bridge Subject Matter Expert to join our Construction Cost Estimating Team.
Duties, Responsibilities and Other :
Act as a technical authority in constructability of Major Bridge types such as Cable Stayed, Extradosed, Arch, Bascule or Box Girder
- Provide guidance to project teams and mentoring junior estimators
- Develop and maintain relationship with Clients, Owners, Contractors, Suppliers and Engineers
- Prepare and / or review constructability reports for Clients
- Participate in client task force meetings and discussions, addressing technical inquiries and providing solutions
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential project issues.
- Assist in development and review of construction cost estimates
- Prepare and / or review CPM construction schedules
- Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Review bid packages including but not limited to comparison and analysis of competitive subcontractor and supplier bids
