We are partnering with a leading global food and beverage manufacturer to find a Quality Systems Supervisor who will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and quality of their products. In this position, you will oversee critical quality programs such as FSSC22000, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), ensuring their effective implementation and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for managing audits and inspections, representing the plant during evaluations by customers, third-party partners, and regulatory agencies. Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the plant’s GFSI programs (HACCP, FSSC22000).
- Assess, improve, and align department programs to required standards.
- Support plant management in implementing quality programs and processes.
- Ensure plant is audit-ready and lead audits.
- Conduct annual reassessment of food safety systems and SOPs.
- Monitor FSSC22000 compliance (verification, validation, audits, recordkeeping).
- Track corrective actions for non-conformances and report major issues.
- Schedule and lead Food Safety / HACCP meetings.
- Prepare reports on FSSC system status and projects.
- Develop training on FSSC policies and requirements.
- Manage quality software / SharePoint and ensure records are accessible.
- Stay updated on GFSI standard changes and integrate into plant programs.
- Collaborate with production on root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Manage records / contracts for indirect service providers (e.g., pest control, calibration).
- Interface with regulatory agencies.
- Communicate regulatory changes to plant staff.
- Ensure compliance with updated regulations.
- Ensure audit readiness.
- Complete CAPAs and audit reports.
- Train internal audit team.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, R&D, HR, etc.).
- Ensure quality compliance and data exchange.
- Foster team development and set performance goals.
- Travel and / or work extended hours as needed.
Required Skills / Qualifications :
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 annually
