Job Summary
Maysville Community and Technical College is seeking applications for the position of Communication Instructor. The primary campus will be determined and in-person instruction may be needed at more than one campus. This is a ten-month, term contact, faculty position. The position involves teaching 15 credit hours per semester, planning instructional activities, student guidance-advising activities, institutional service, community service, professional development, and educational leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong professional and course management systems experience. Teaching assignments will include on-campus and online courses.
Job Duties:
- Teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester.
- Plan and carry out instructional activities.
- Provide academic advising and assist with student recruitment, retention, and student outcome assessment.
- Maintain records and report on student progress.
- Participate in professional development activities, internal, and external service.
- Engage in various departmental activities or leadership opportunities, including course development and evaluation, mentoring and supporting adjunct faculty, and serving on a system-level curriculum committee.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in Communication.
