Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Computer Information Technology Instructor.
Job Duties:
- Teaching approximately 15 credit hours per semester
- Teaching assignments will be face-to-face and online.
- Maintaining weekly office hours on campus
- Advising students
- Participating in college or system committees
- Maintain a current understanding of the field.
A successful ACTC faculty member will exhibit the following:

- Present the current discipline knowledge to teach effectively

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in computer science or a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in the associated discipline preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer a candidate with a minimum of two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (LMS) and other instructional technology. Experience with network security, cybersecurity, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred. A willingness to obtain AWS Practitioner and Architect certifications within one year is also preferred.
