Job Summary

Candidate must have experience in the areas of industrial maintenance, automation, or technical education with a strong knowledge of industrial motor control, fluid power systems, and automation technologies. and experience in the application of principles of teaching and learning.
Job Duties:
Teaching responsibilities include classroom and campus laboratory instruction in the area of industrial maintenance. An Industrial Maintenance Instructor teaches courses in basic electrical and electronics, fluid power systems, industrial motor control, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and robotics as part of the Industrial Maintenance program. Instruction will focus on industrial maintenance and automation systems, incorporating hands-on training and assessments to prepare students for careers in the field. Maintaining a safe and well-equipped learning environment is essential, along with supporting students in troubleshooting, programming, and system integration. Course content must align with industry standards and workforce needs. Other responsibilities include division and college committee assignments, student advising, community service and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum of an Associates in Applied Science and experience in the field of Industrial Maintenance. This position requires hands-on experience with Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Studio, Connected Components, and FANUC Robotics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications in Rockwell Automation or FANUC Robotics are preferred.
