Job Summary
Somerset Community College invites applications for a full-time Nursing Instructor on the Somerset Campus.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Teaching nursing courses with an emphasis on teaching and supervising students in laboratory, simulation exercises and clinical education for associate degree, practical nursing and nurse aide programs, with other program duties as assigned. Schedule should be flexible to allow for working with these three programs. Duties may include management of lab and simulation areas. Other duties may include, but are not limited to academic advising, internal services (committees, attendance and participation in meetings, etc.), educational leadership, professional development, external service in the community, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited university or college and at least three years of related experience. All applicants must meet licensure requirements of the occupation and hold an unrestricted license to practice registered nursing in the state of Kentucky.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from a regionally accredited university or college and at least three years of related experience.
