The Staff Tutor will be responsible for working with students to provide tutoring services in math and a variety of other courses, that reinforce key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom, especially those students with accommodations.

Job Duties
Duties to include but not be limited to:
- Provide students with supplemental skills and teach skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions for math and other coursework
- Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks to reinforce key concepts .
- Demonstrating academic best practices for math course assignments, including research and writing tactics
- Providing students positive and constructive feedback on progress where appropriate
- Providing tutoring services at HCTC locations, through various modes (on campus or online)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
