Responsible for teaching a variety of Sociology courses, both in-person and online, and working collaboratively with faculty to foster an engaging experience for students in the classroom and on campus.
Job Duties
Job duties include classroom instruction, both in-person and online, in the field of sociology. Other duties include student advising, service on college committees, community service, and participation in professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in Sociology.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching Sociology courses at the community college level.
Experience teaching courses of various length and in multiple modalities.
Additional Skills Requested
Experience with recruiting and working with community partners.
Willingness to teach college success courses, outside primary discipline, should the need arise.
