Job Summary
Temporary part-time position, for the Southeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) to deliver information and educational materials about the key aspects of health insurance to our rural communities. This a grant funded position that will end on 5/31/2026.
Job Duties
Hired employee will be prepared to deliver information and educational materials about key aspects of health insurance to our rural communities. Some information shall include (but not limited to):
Associate degree and/or High School Diploma with experience to substitute teach.

- How to understand the major types and sources of health insurance in Kentucky
- How eligibility for each of these types of healthcare coverage works
- How to understand and anticipate out of pocket costs
- Will be trained to carry out job tasks
- Shall participate in scheduled meetings
- Shall drive to community events and sites within our service region
- Be self-driven and a good communicator
- Shall have basic computer skills
