At KD Nutra , we are actively seeking a Demand and Supply Planner who will be responsible for balancing demand forecasts with supply planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing sales trends, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and developing demand plans to support business objectives while minimizing costs and stockouts. Utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, logistics, customer services, and finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Demand Planning:
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and business insights.
- · Collaborate with sales, customer service, logistics, warehouse and finance teams to incorporate promotions, product launches, and seasonal trends into demand plans.
- Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, making adjustments to improve planning efficiency.
- Developing accurate weekly and monthly forecast data
Supply Planning:
- Align supply plans with demand forecasts to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels.
- · Work closely with suppliers, production teams, and logistics to coordinate supply schedules and resolve constraints.
- · Providing input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Preparing, reporting, and communicating forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
- Identify potential risks in supply chain operations and propose mitigation strategies.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain appropriate stock levels by optimizing inventory replenishment strategies.
- Reduce excess inventory and obsolescence through proactive planning and communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service levels, inventory turnover, and stock accuracy. Identifying and reporting on inventory trends and slow-moving items
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between demand and supply teams to ensure seamless execution of planning processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding supply chain improvements.
- Communicate changes in demand forecasts and supply constraints to relevant stakeholders.
Supply Planning & 3PL Management:
- Align supply plans with demand forecasts to ensure product availability while preventing overstock.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, ensuring service levels, on-time deliveries, and inventory accuracy.
- Issue purchase orders and track open orders, working closely with suppliers and logistics teams.
- Provide Best Estimate completion dates to Planning for order confirmation.
- Provide insights into inventory strategies, including new product launches.
- Monitor and report key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and order fulfillment rates.
- Identify potential risks in supply chain operations and develop solutions to mitigate them.
Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or a related role.
- Proficiency in demand planning tools, ERP systems, NAV, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals and or manufacturing .
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques.
- APICS, CPIM, or related certification is a plus.

Pay: $73,326.00 - $79,642.00 per year
