Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, and strive to keep transportation costs in addition, he/she will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and on time delivery.
Duties
- Responsible for managing all shipping schedule activities.
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments.
- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.
- Manage Imports (Raw materials, machinery, parts), and interaction with Customs Brokers
- Responsible for having POA and Export/Import Permits in place.
- Handle/issue documentation for Exports (Pro-forma Invoice, Shipper Letter of Instructions
- Issue Export Health Certificates with government agencies (i.e., NOAA, FDA).
- Manage the day-to-day logistics operation, inbound of raw materials, outbound of Softgel, turnkey products, and raw materials to customers or 3PL, CMOs.
- Resolve issues and complaints with carriers & Negotiate rates with Freight Forwarders and carriers and brokers
- Manage the Chain of custody for different SC Certifications, MSC Marine Stewardship Council; FO Friends of the Sea, maintain full record traceability, and that products are set up/labeled correctly.
- Set up and Manage Drawback claims.
- Work with Centurion, VAT Specialist in UK, for VAT Returns and ESL (EC Sales Listing)
- Reporting.
- Support any other WH department activities. Generate shipping documentation and confirm product being shipped
- Perform consumption, allocating raw materials, packaging components and output in ERP system
WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Three to five years prior related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of cGMP.
- ERP System knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
- Able to effectively communicate in English written and oral.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment with accountability for deadlines.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Training/certifications on purchasing/negotiating techniques desirable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management and control
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in warehouse management and materials handling
- Familiarity with Tableau and data analysis for decision-making
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions

Pay: $47,252.00 - $53,500.00 per year
