Position Summary:
Responsible for efficient movement of material throughout the facility to meet the demands of the business. Employee must be able to proficiently use the walkie stackie and/or forklift to support production and/or shipping and/or receiving. Must have ability to lead Material Handler 2’s and 3’s when supervisor is unavailable. They also should have the ability to coordinate overtime and cover for absences.

Position Summary:

Must have ability to lead Material Handler 2’s and 3’s when supervisor is unavailable. They also should have the ability to coordinate overtime and cover for absences.
Essential Functions:
- Perform all Logistics positions at required performance to Standard Work
- Pull F/G from production/stretch wrap/apply pallet tag/scan into system
- Deliver components from kitting or staging to production
- Remove restock from lines, place into restock designated area
- Load shipments adhering to standard operations and customer requirements
- Operate all Logistics equipment and external tasks at required performance to Standard Work
- Pull and stage customer orders for shipments
- Rearrange rows of F/G, components or raw materials to allow proper age control (FIFO)
- Scan produced F/G and put in proper warehouse locations
- Locate restock materials into correct warehouse locations
- Ensure 6S assignments are done on a daily basis
- Champion 6S in designated areas
- Execute driver check-in process
- Actively “coach” employees/training
- Receive in merchandise (raw materials and/or finished goods), which also includes unloading, breakdown and preparing for put away
- Generate barcode labels for inbound components
- Pull F/G products from warehouse/pick cartons by order for shipments
- Prepare pick-pack orders received via email, Macola or shipping clerks
- Locate and count packaging components, raw materials and finished goods
- Adjust manning to meet daily business demands
- Effectively communicates with others, shift change being a priority
- Conduct shift and staff meetings
- Complete a minimum of 2 self-development courses per year
- Manage accident/injury process
- Effectively balance D.C. inbound/outbound flow
- Perform all required tasks to assist and serve as backup for the Logistics Shift Leader
- Good attendance record – less than 2 absences
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
