We are currently hiring for an experienced Client Services Representative who will coordinate and track all company customer related projects (existing), including creation and review of customer accounts, management of initiatives for visibility to purchasing, maintenance of inventory tracking for customer owned inventory, production and shipment of finished goods, and daily account management.
The essential duties of the role include:
- Provides customer with focused support and assistance to include problem solving in shipping, purchasing, production, and accounting,
- Operates as customer advocate within the site, communicating the customer’s needs and priorities through appropriate channels to assure consistent customer satisfaction.
- Drives meaningful site discussions on how to remove barriers and to meet customer needs.
- Serves as customer relationship owner for all corporate customers, reviewing expectations, challenges, issues with a positive sense of understanding and urgency; escalates customer issues as appropriate within the organization.
- Negotiates between the customer and production team regarding problematic orders and communicates reconciliation in an efficient and specific manner; balances customer needs with plant needs and provides appropriate resolution.
- Manages the analysis and reconciliation of aged inventory for customer, both slow moving and obsolete, including appropriate billing of aged pallet fees monthly for the customer.
- Coordinates and compiles all miscellaneous and one-off billings for customers, providing appropriate supporting documentation and quotes on a timely basis.
- Provides customer service to the internal customers needing intelligence/follow up on customer issues/concerns; represents department in all necessary customer conference calls/internal meetings
- Follows up with Quality and Shipping to assure all orders will ship on time for Customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred; in lieu of a degree a minimum of 5 years of work experience (account management experience) is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous customer service/customer account management experience is required.
