We have an immediate opening for a dynamic Accounting Analyst, responsible for maintaining financial reports, supporting month-end close and special projects as requested so the company can meet financial objectives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides assistance to Finance team in supporting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assists site management teams in implementing financial and performance measurement systems
- Initiates all Capital Purchase Orders in SAP
- Supports costing of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and submission of RFQs (Request for Quote)
- Performs miscellaneous month end journal entries (e.g. Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead.
- Provides backup support to other Analysts as needed.
- Completes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), journal entries, balance sheets and other paperwork according to established company policy
- Maintains confidentiality of financial information; other sensitive and confidential information
- Assist with providing supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as needed due to workplace demands. Performs other related duties as required.
