Job Description: Incoming Quality Inspector
The Incoming Quality Inspector performs critical inspections of all incoming components and labels, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming components using customer standards, certified test equipment/tools, and ANSI/ASQC inspection standards.
- Receive and inspect incoming labels into SAP, utilizing customer standards and scanning software.
- Record and scan inspection results in the appropriate database.
- Complete form, fit, and function testing on new components.
- Perform transactions in SAP to contain components and labels during inspection and release for production once inspections are complete.
- Maintain customer component inspection standards.
- Create KDC Label Standards to ensure customer and regulatory compliance in the Label room and Production Department.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual with a High School diploma/GED and proficiency in math; college courses preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in quality inspection or mechanical, industrial, or technical fields is required.
