Summary: Light assembly and packaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs packaging functions, hand assembly operations and identifies quality defects in packaging operations.
- Works in a safe manner, reporting unsafe operations/practices to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Achieves and maintains proficiency in all aspects of packaging lines.
- Trains on, and acquires, relevant skills leading to other career opportunities within the Assembly area.
- Follows all safety / GMP rules.
- All other duties as assigned.
- No specific educational requirements.
- General learning ability is required to carry out a large number of manual assembly related duties at customer and kdc/one’s quality and quantity standards.
- Good visual inspection is needed to identify defects in/on the product.
- Good eye/hand coordination, finger and manual dexterity needed to group products, position, label, insert package, etc. at required production proficiency standards.
- Must have sufficient command of the English language to comprehend verbal instructions to follow proper operating procedures.
